Sales Policy

Ordering By Phone

Orders not involving special order products or labor will be processed within 24 hours. All shipments are F.O.B Augusta, KS. Your shipping costs can be determined at the time you order is placed. Same day service involving custom piston operations and selected components is available, providing pre-arrangements have been made with Patterson Racing. Shipping methods should be specified at the time of order, i.e. overnight, priority, standard overnight, 2nd day, Saturday delivery, Holiday delivery, or standard U.P.S ground service (normally 2 to 5 working days depending on destination). All non-truck freight orders (if not specified), will be shipped via the most cost effective method – normally U.P.S ground service. Only orders placed before 3 p.m. C.S.T will be shipped same day. Hours: 9 A.M. to 6 P.M. C.S.T. Monday through Friday.

Our E-Mail address is info@pattersonracing.com. Be sure to include complete name, shipping address (no P.O. boxes-shipper will not deliver), and daytime phone number. To expedite your order, please order by
part number if available, in numerical order, with complete description.

Methods of Payment

For all domestic orders, we accept Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express with a $1,000.00 limit. Orders above this amount require approval from Patterson Racing management or the balance of the order may be shipped C.O.D. Be sure to specify card number, expiration date, security code, complete name, address, and daytime phone number. We reserve the right that on all first time orders will require a copy of current driver’s. All truck orders, i.e., complete engines and short block assemblies, must be pre-paid prior to shipment. For all orders or custom components, a 50% deposit is required. For orders involving custom machine work, a 75% deposit is required unless previous arrangements have been made. We suggest deposits be made by money order, cashiers check or bank draft as business checks require 10 working days to clear. All deposits on custom components or machine work are NON-Refundable. Customer is responsible for all additional freight charges.

Foreign Shipments

All o orders shipped outside the continental U.S.A require payment in full prior to shipping. The preferred method is Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. All overseas shipments are sent freight collect via USPS, unless previous arrangements have been made.

Drop Shipments

All drop shipments, when available, must be prepaid. Sorry, no C.O.D drop shipments.

Refused Shipments

All expenses resulting from refused shipment, regardless of reason, are the responsibility of the customer. Notice will be sent regarding the amount, and this amount will be carried as a balance due. Further shipments will not be made until Patterson Racing is reimbursed for the expense.

Returns

If a return is necessary due to damage or defects, you must contact Patterson Racing for a return authorization number. You must mark the shipping carton with this RA number and return it prepaid and insured. All merchandise returned must be unused, in resalable condition and in original packaging. This return must be accompanied by the original invoice within 10 working days. All returns of stocking are subject to a 15% restocking charge and credit only will be given toward future purchase. All manufacturers’ warranties will be handled by the manufacturer.

Damaged Shipments and Shortages

All freight is F.O.B Augusta, KS. When the carrier signs for the shipment in good condition at our plant, any damage claim or shortage claims must be made at the time of delivery by the customer against the carrier. Always personally inspect the shipment immediately and reconcile the shipment against the packaging slip. Make note of any damages or shortages on the freight bill and be sure the driver is aware of the discrepancy. If it is impossible to hold the driver while the shipment is being inspected for discrepancies or damage make the following notation of the bill of lading – “subject to later count and inspection” We require all claims to be called to our attention within 48 hours of receipt of shipment. Most carriers will not accept any claims more than 30 days old.

Due to the intended usage of the parts contained in this catalog, all products are sold without any expressed warranty or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for the intended purpose. Patterson Racing assumes no responsibility for personal injury, labor or other injury through the application of high performance racing products, nor will Patterson Racing bear the cost of vehicle down time or storage.
All sales transactions in KS are subject to a 6.3% sales tax.

Products in this catalog are not legal for sale or use in California on pollution controlled motor vehicles.

Patterson Racing reserves the right to change specifications and prices without notice.
Product images may differ from actual product size.

Should a product prove defective, the entire cost of service or repair is the responsibility of the manufacturer and the buyer.
