3 Wins in a Row -
5th Overall this Year!

David Rampy has won his 3rd National Event title in a row and the 67th of his career!

Rampy patiently waited through a weekend of typical Seattle weather to claim the Schuck's Auto Supply NHRA Nationals Competition Eliminator title.

Starting eliminations with no qualifying attempts, David relied on his trusty 320 c.i. Patterson Racing SB-2 Chevy engine to carry him to the final round, where he defeated a red-lighting Clint Sallee's B/Dragster.

This marks David's 55th career Competition Eliminator victory with Patterson Power!

Congratulations, David!

David Rampy is the hottest driver on the NHRA circuit!

This past weekend, David claimed his 66th National Event title at the NHRA Mopar Mile-High Nationals at Bandimere Speedway.

Starting from the #10 qualifying position, David fired a .60 under 7.80 E.T. in the first round with his Patterson Powered 320 c.i. SB-2 engine.

David then relied on his driving skills to march his way through the tough Competition Eliminator field, where he defeated a red-lighting Will Hatcher in the final.

This gives David back to back wins and his third Mopar Mile-High title of his career!

Patterson's Engines have been
in 6 of the last 8 Event finals!

Tim Nicholson claimed the #1 qualifying position and the Class trophy with an awesome -1.389, 10.741 E.T. in his GT/I '66 Chevy II at the Mopar Mile-High Nationals in Denver with his Patterson Racing 283 c.i. R&D engine.

David Rampy claimed his 65th career National Event victory while defending his title at Thunder Valley. He ran a 7.439 E.T., qualifying in the #5 spot. His awesome .007 reaction time was more than enough to hold up David Eaton's A/AP Bantam for the win. Congratulations David on win #3 of the 2007 racing season!

David's win puts Patterson's Engines in 5 of the last 7 Event finals!

The Domination Continues!

Win makes four-in-a-row nat'l event Comp Elim Finals for Patterson Power!

David Rampy is no stranger to the winner’s circle. The familiar Wally fit comfortably in his hand this weekend in Englishtown, New Jersey after a Competition Eliminator final round win at the ProCare Rx NHRA SuperNationals.

Rampy drove his ’32 Bantam A/EA to intimidating wins over Skip Gladstone and Bob Rossi in the first two rounds. Both drivers knew they had to cut killer lights to have a chance at beating the three-time NHRA World Champion and red-lit in the process.

In round three, Rampy drove around Richard Schonberger with a 7.42 second run, .490 under the A/EA index. Rampy turned up the 320 c.i. Patterson Power even more in the semi-final, where he ran a 7.32 (.586 under) to beat Lee Zane.

Rampy’s reaction time in the final was an on-the-money .008 compared to Allyn Armstrong’s .118. Rampy ran a 7.332, .578 under the original A/EA index to take the holeshot victory.

Including Rampy’s win at Englishtown, Patterson Racing engines have powered finalists in the last four-in-a-row national events, with an additional win for Rampy in St. Louis and one for Todd Patterson’s B/SR in Topeka.

Tim Nicholson scored his first career NHRA victory at Bandimere Speedway's Division 5 LODRS event. Tim qualified his Cassil Racing 283 c.i. GT/I Chevy II Patterson Power Plant in the #4 spot and then marched his way through the field. Tim's great .005 R/T in the Final was more than enough to hold off Dana Verdoorn's GT/A Mustang! Congratulations!
